The indigenous Igbo Rapper/Singer Jeriq made this known, when he was being interviewed by the entertainment daily. He said this when he was trying to praise artist Phyno for always giving free verses to upcoming artists. In his Words
"" He says ,if I Jeriq can charge 10-15 million per verse , how much more will my mentor phyno charge. Phyno having the right to charge more, always offers free verses to the upcoming artists to help promote them. He went ahead to name the artists phyno has given free verses raging from Him (Jeriq), Ugoccie, Kolaboy,Aguero, Ransom, Cheque,Hugo p, Sp, Quincy, etc ... He went ahead to say that each verse phyno gives,he always comes to the video without collecting any money. He says Phyno doesn't want people to talk about his good deeds.
Jeriq praised phyno for bringing him (Jeriq) to limelight. He said he was nobody until phyno came into his life. That it was since Phyno Came into his life,that is when people started to notice him . He started having many concert to his name.
