Peter Obi officially leaves Labor party (LP) to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

The former Governor of Anambra State and the presidential candidate of Labor party in 2023 election has officially joined the coalition party,; African Democratic Congress . The ceremony was held in ENUGU state Nigeria. Obi said the move is to prepare for 2027 General election. To take away power from corrupt politicians who cares only but for themselves. Also to curb electoral malpractices. 

    Many of Obi supporters were in attendance for the defection. 

ENUGU state was chosen for the occasion because it's neutrality when it comes to politics.

Many people are deliberating on how Atiku Abubakar will see the defection.

Others are saying will the defection affect Apc??
